ACTION-TRACK®

Action-Track® was developed in West Germany in the late 1960's by specialists in the running track industry. It took years of
research and development to produce a state-of-the-art track surface at an attractive price.

Since our first installation in the United States at Dover High School (Dover, Delaware) in 1980, we have installed over 500 running tracks.

Action-Track® is a unique synthetic composition, scientifically designed to provide a resilient and durable athletic surface for running tracks and field event areas. It is a seamless surface and contains no loose aggregate.

Providing excellent traction and footing in either wet or dry conditions is an Action-Track® trademark. It is self-sealing and will accommodate use of 3/8" or smaller spikes without being affected by spike penetration. This surface delivers performance, with or without the use of spikes.

Action-Track® requires minimal maintenance and will not require recoating or rejuvination for 6-10 years. It is ideal for a multi-purpose facility, allowing joggers and physical education classes to use the same installation that is used by the track team.

Resilient: One of the outstanding features of our tracks is that they retain their resiliency, regardless of the temperature. As a result, this unique blend of natural and synthetic materials helps prevent leg injuries and cushions falls.
Fast: In addition to it's cushioning properties, our tracks retain rebound resilience, providing greater energy return to the runner. They are specifically designed for ultra-quick spike release, a key feature in achieving maximum athletic performance.

Safe: These track surfaces have carefully designed to have just the right porosity. Water drains off through the surface, eliminating slick spots. The surface is textured and tailored to provide a high friction coefficient in both wet and dry conditions.

Durable: Our track system has anti-bubbling characteristics, allowing the track to breathe, thereby releasing moisture which could otherwise build-up beneath the surface. In fact, our track system has improved surface longevity. Unlike other commonly used surfaces that require frequent recoating, the superior design of our surface results in a higher probability that recoating will NOT be necessary every few years.
