Safe-T-Grip® is a modified epoxy binder usually dressed with calcined bauxite (Polished Stone Value 70+) for excellent durability and skid resistance in both wet and dry weather. Calcined bauxite is available in buff or grey and can be color coated if required. Other aggregates may be selected for their natural colors which can be accentuated by color coating for greater visual impact and color retention.

The annual cost of accidents in human and monetary terms is unacceptably high. The solution is a high friction surfacing which resists polishing and wear.

Safe-T-Grip® is resistant to oil, gasoline, and de-icing salts and has excellent adhesion to existing road surfaces. It is quick to apply, curing in under three hours in an ambient temperature of 68 Degrees Farenheit and can be used on all classes of roads.

Description

Safe-T-Grip® is a highly durable specialist hand or machine applied colored high friction surface treatment, consisting of a thermosetting modified epoxy resin binder which is usually pigmented and dressed with naturally pigmented or color coated aggregate, typically calcined bauxite or granite.

The binder is a thermosetting modified epoxy compound which exhibits plastoelastic properties holding the aggregate permanently and firmly in position so that it does not become embedded or displaced under the heaviest of breaking.
